On December 10, 2019, Park and Recreation Commission voted to approve the creation of a Landscape Master Plan for the golf course and a Master Plan for the clubhouse to be completed. This vote was instrumental in laying the foundation of determining the direction at which we proceed to address the significant opportunities both on the golf course and the clubhouse. In 2021, the Robert T. Lynch Golf Course has begun the process of creating both of these Master Plans. The first Master Plan that will be started is the Golf Course Landscape Master Plan. The Clubhouse Master Plan is expected to start the summer of 2022, with an anticipated overlapping time period with both architects working together to ensure proper transitions are designed between both plans.
This space on this website will be an information destination for all residents and golfers to learn about how to get involved and stay up to date as we proceed with the creation of each plan. If you have any questions at any time, please don’t hesitate to contact Justin Lawson, PGA General Manager of the Robert T. Lynch Municipal Golf Course at jlawson@brooklinema.gov or 617-730-2078.
